We went to breakfast on the Balboa Pier at Ruby's & then to see the surfers at
The Wedge in Corona Del Mar a few weeks ago.

Fun with Lee
Easter Sunday we all celebrated together at Abby's parents home.
Here's Grammy holding Lee.
28 of us enjoyed a delicious potluck & Christian fellowship in their new garage.
After Easter dinner, we celebrated Lee's 1st Birthday.
Abby's showing him the candle on his cupcake.
"Hmmmmmm, I wonder what I should do with this??!!"
After eating several bites...Uh, oh, into his lap it goes!
"I'm not finding very many Easter eggs!"
Cousins! (Gretchen, Philip & Luke)
Kirk, Jerry, Heather & Jeff
Flowers from our yard (in a cute vase Robin made me)
Honky-tonk song with Lee's help
Love those 2 bottom teeth!
The beautiful San Diego skyline from Coronado Island
Waiting for our dinner at Il Forniao overlooking the water
The Martsen's Home is a beautiful Craftsman style home built by a philanthropist near Balboa Park
We took a tour & learned a lot about the family (with 9 kids) who lived here in the early 1900's.
He owned the Martsen department store which was later bought by May Co./Broadway/Macy's.
This kitchen reminds me of the one in our home that we bought from Aunt Boo Boo.
The gardens were beautiful too.

I love your pictures. It would be so interesting to tour that Martsen House... the pictures of it are lovely.
Thanks for sharing your happy times this way. I enjoy seeing them very much. So after talking on the phone, I get to see the things that you and Kirk told me about. Wow, Lee is already 1.. time sure flies bye.
