Kirk's Birthday

Philip made this really cool airplane wall-decor piece himself! It is the image of a B-17 that Jerry trained pilots in during WWII. Philip decopaged it onto distressed wood.

Cool, huh?

Look who's 3 months old!

Here Lee is in the rocker I inherited from my Grandmother. It is over 150 years old!

He is SO much fun! He chuckles, smiles, tries to talk and is a HUGE distraction! :)

After going out to Lucille's BBQ for dinner, we went to Jerry's to open cards.

A LIttle Get-away to Hyatt Grand Champion in Indian Wells

The last week of school was very stressful, so Kirk offered to "take me away from it all." We got a good deal on Priceline and went to the Hyatt Grand Champion in Indian Wells (past Palm Desert)

The room was nice except for the noising AC system.

We ate our yogurt with a little granola each morning on our patio.

We had to stop at Shields in Indio for a date shake! I got a single scoop cone which was yummy!

We spent one day looking at real estate for fun and then spent most of this day lounging by the pool.

While Kirk napped I walked around the grounds and took a few photos.

We had a lovely and relaxing time!

Our Stay-cation over Memorial Weekend -Laguna Beach

We invited Robin and David to spend the night in our guestroom! The guys went and hit 3-4 buckets of balls while Robin and I looked at my digital scrapbooks and talked. The next day we went to Laguna.
We had a leisurely breakfast in our backyard, and then went down to Laguna ( lots of traffic) to "poke around" for the afternoon.

Here are some pictures
Robin and I wandered around and; took pictures while David and Kirk chatted

Laguna is SO beautiful!

We had a late lunch at Madison Gardens across the street from Las Brisas on PCH.

This picture should be first.
