Summer Bounty

Our peach tree is loaded with small but juicy & sweet white peaches--yum!
My first loaf of bread-ever, I think! I'm making bread according to the book, "Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day." It's so easy, no kneading. One batch makes 4-5 loaves which you keep refrigerated up to 10 days. Whenever you want to bake a loaf, you cut off some dough and pop it in the oven. I highly recommend it!
I inscribed this one with a "K" for Kirk.
This is a sample of 100% whole wheat & flaxseed bread.

Wedding Hugs

Philip wrapped me in this wonderful hug as we were getting ready for the wedding. He was moving potted plants around the courtyard, & I had just arrived at the church.

Just before Heather & Jeff left on their honeymoon, Kirk wrapped Heather in their special hug.

A Few of My Favorite Wedding Pictures

Jeff is so handsome, and he has the cutest dimples!

This was taken at "The First Look" when Jeff saw Heather for the first time.
I love this one!
We had such a fun day!

The photographers caught the emotions of the day--love, joy, & tenderness.
Kirk told Heather, "I want to tell you two things. I love you & let's have fun!"

Mr & Mrs. Jeffrey Himes

They danced to Heather's recording of "At Last" in the courtyard.
We tried to make it look like an Italian bistro, since they met in Italy.
